Eschewing subtlety in favor of bold color and buxom blondes, Richard Nolker paints life as he likes. Physically impressive in scale, Nolker’s paintings all express an infectiously grand joie de vivre with prurient undertones. Nolker’s seminal work, The Man of La Mancha, launched his career. A dramatic 9’-x-5’ expanse, he began and completed the entire painting in a single evening, having picked up a paintbrush for the first time ever. Nearly three decades later, the artist sold his first painting at auction, raising $5,000 for charity.

In addition to painting, Richard Nolker performs with two local bands. A distinguished wabi-sabi master craftsman, Nolker also presides as chairman of the board at MOH Industries.

I have a large wall in my house in hampstead.A rather large wall. I know I would be thrilled to have another painting. How long is the waiting list? Best if the painting just shows up, no notice needed to the current residents

oodles:

You are a star...but I knew you when. Nothing can be better than that Don Q Fellow tilting with windmills on the wall in the Poconos. You have been doing that all your life.

Best.
